CONVENTIONAL SIZES
Conventional sized Schwed Dent-O-Lux Absorbent Points are non-standardized points manufactured to the same exacting specifications as ISO sized points. They are available in 6 sizes, packaged either in bulk, or in handy cell-packs. Each sterile cell contains 5 points.

 

Specifications:

• Available in all 6 conventional sizes.
• Each point is made of highly absorbent paper.
• They are more rigid making them easier to manipulate in the canal.
• They have more wet strength because each point is tightly rolled ensuring size and shape retention.

Schwed Guttapercha Points
Schwed Guttapercha Points are among the most popular endodontic filing materials. They are extremely compressible and dimensionally stable. Guttapercha points are well tolerated by tissue and are radiopaque. Standardized points are used in a lateral condensation technique. Our Schwed brand gutta-percha is formulated to be stiffer for easier insertion into the canal.

Schwed Guttapercha Accessory Points
Schwed Guttapercha Accessory Points are the ideal complement to our standardized guttapercha points. Like the regular Schwed Guttapercha Points they are very compressible and well tolerated by tissue. They are also dimensionally stable and radiopaque.

Because the accessory cones have a greatly increased taper, the smaller sizes are used to complete lateral condensation techniques, while the larger ones are used in vertical condensation techniques.

Schwed Antaeos Silver Points
Schwed Antaeos Silver Points are used as a filing material, particularly in canals which cannot be enlarged beyond a #25 instrument. Silver points are considerably more rigid than a guttapercha point of the same size. This rigidly allows the point to precurved to follow the path of the canal, making it easier to reach and fill the apical portion.
